Hello, I am the Miss Georgia State Executive Director, Pam Fincher. With the help from my daughters, Morgan Todd and Kenley Fincher, we bring local title competitions to hometowns all over the stage of Georgia. The entire family enjoys attending, participating in the event and planning the next.
I am married to Kenneth, we reside in Douglasville Georgia. We have three beautiful daughters, Morgan-Kenley-Brittney, A beautiful grandaughter and one and only grandSON and a soon to be son-in-law, Brad.
I have been in the pageant industry since Morgan began pageants in 1998. She has the interst one day to do a local Sunburst Pageant in Douglasville and, after that one pageant, was hooked! She entered her first state pageant, Miss Georgia World, in Carrollton Georgia and won her first QUEEN title! After that day, we began her pageant career. She enjoyed pageants, both natural and glitz. We spent many vacations and family events at pageants for the next few years. In 2002, I began doing preliminary events for Hawaiian Tropic Kids! It was a fabulous system that was eventually sold by Ron Rice and the pageants ended. I was the director for Georgia/Alabama/Florida and then ventured into Tennessee. I made it to nationals in Canada for three years in a row taking 5 competing contestants each year and almost 100% bringing home that title. The winners were invited to Hawaii for the big girls pageants and photo shoots as well as some making it to model on the Hawaiian Tropic Products. It was a great experience.
I then began a glitzy pageant system for two years and gave LOTS of cash away on stage. That also required a lot of traveling and family adventures from state to state. Finally in 2005 I decided to slow down a bit and enjoy the family time at home. I am a full time office manager for a prominant cardiologist office in the Atlanta Area, I am also a full time student in order to complete the degree for my current career. We do find the time to do pageants in our spare time! We began the Miss Georgia State Hometown Pageant System. I offer custom emroidered title sashes for every local title, beautiful crowns and always custom awards. We keep our fees low.
I also began in 2006 the Miss America Preliminary of Miss West Georgia. We brought a new Miss Georgia Preliminary to West Georgia! It was a memorable two years, but the time and energy it takes to make a non profit official Miss America Preliminary takes more than a family, it takes a dedicted pageant board and pageant family. It takes dedication of just about every moment of your extra time in life. There just is not enough volunteers for that. We are sorry to have to end that part of our pageant career, I am very proud of our first two Miss West Georgia representatives and our first two Miss West Georgia's Outstanding Teen representatives. I would give anything to keep the system going and if I had more volunteers, I would still continue to provide that service to two well deserving representatives annually! Congratulations to Jessica, Haley, Melissa and Macy and I hope the best for each of you in the future. We also had a very successful princess program that we will now incorporate into Miss American Princess.... www.missamericanprincess.com
but we are continuing our successful Miss Georgia State and are now going to make it more memorable and successful than ever.
Thank you for visiting the website and we hope that each of you will attend one of our events for yourself. We have competed a lot of contestants on our stages through out the South. Some win, some lose and some walk away wanting more. Always obtain an experience for yourself, dont let others judge and make their experiences yours.
