MISS GEORGIA STATE RULES

  • MAKEUP RULES FOR THE MISS GEORGIA STATE SYSTEM
AGES 0-3. NO MAKEUP ALLOWED. POINTS WILL BE DEDUCTED FOR THE
USE OF MAKEUP IN THESE AGE DIVISIONS. PLEASE KEEP HAIR MORE
NATURAL FOR OUR EVENTS.
AGES 4 TO 9 LIGHT MAKEUP IS ALLOWED PER THESE REQUIREMENTS:
LIGHT POWDER, LIGHT PINK LIP GLOSS (NO LIP STICK) LIGHT MASCARA (NO
EYE SHADOW) NO FOUNDATION. PLEASE ABIDE TO THESE RULE. POINTS
WILL BE DEDUCTED. PLEASE KEEP HAIR MORE NATURAL
AGES 10 AND UP THESE CONTESTANTS CAN WEAR NATURAL LOOKING
AGE APPROPRIATE MAKEUP. PLEASE DO NOT OVER DO. PLEASE KEEP
HAIR MORE NATURAL.

*****MAKE UP IS NOT A REQUIREMENT TO COMPETE AT ANY AGE.

  • A registration form must be received in advance prior to the day of the pageant in order to compete in one of our events. Since everyone receives an award, they must be ordered in advance.
  • All decisions at each event are final and left to the option of those judges in that particular event. Score sheets will be handed out at most events where time and event allow, if you do not receive your scores, please contacted me and they will be emailed to you within 3 days of the pageant please.
  • *Remember, all crowns, sashes and awards may vary upon availability.
  • The state judges will not have been a prior preliminary judge.
  • No unsportsmanship like conduct. Those that do not abide by this rule will be
  ask to leave with no refunds. This includes family members of friends of any
  contestants.
  • There are no refunds associated with any Miss Georgia State event unless the director cancels the event. You will then receive a refund within 48 hours of the cancellation.
  • If you have a problem with anything that happens prior to the event, at registration, on stage at any of the competitions... please see me before crowning. If you have problems with anything associated with the crowning of the contestants and awards, please see me immediately following the event. I will not discuss other contestants, only your own. Please do not take a moment away from another winner to complain about those that are not associate with you, or try to degrade the contestants while they are present.
  • All contestants will receive a confirmation and reminder email 3 days prior to the event you are registered for. If you do not receive this, please email me at info@missgeorgiastate.com
  • If you have any questions prior or after an event, please email me that is the best way to contact me. You will receive a reply as that is checked daily.
  • There are no modeling scores associated with this event. Contestants are judges on 1-10 personality, 1-10 overall appearance and 1-10 beauty. We do not judge on a points system, strictly 1 to 10. We feel based on a system that awards a 9.5, 9.3 etc that if you receive a 9.0, they have basically deducted 10 points from your contestants. Keeping it on a whole number system we expect the following from each of our judges
1,2,3 below average, 4,5,6 average, 7,8,9 above average, 10 being perfect.
