USA Princess Rules.
We do not have a list of rules, just the basics to allow fair and fun competition at all times. We do uphold all rules and expect all parents and contestants to do the same.
- Makeup is not required for any of our competitions. The list of makeup rules will apply to all events, but not required. Please note that we may remind you at times if we see the makeup rules not being followed, however, contestants that do not follow these rules will be disqualified and will not place as queen. If you have concerns with your group and any makeup rules, please see the director only prior to the awards.
Ages 0-3 are not allowed to wear any makeup.
- Ages 4-9 may wear light powder, light mascara and light lip gloss. No eye or cheek color.
- Ages 10 and up are allowed natural looking age appropriate makeup.
- We will pre order all awards beginning 14 days prior to any event. We will order those awards plus a certain number, and will only accept that exact amount of deposits for any event. Be sure to register early to receive an award at your event.
- Do not ask how many contestants or names of contestants that are in your group. These emails will be deleted. Though we, at times, award all contestants with awards, this is still a competition. The number of contestants will not matter at any event in order to COMPETE. We have contestants at every event that register and cancel or register at the last minute and updating you with numbers is something we will not do.
- There are no refunds associated with our events, no exceptions. If you send in any funds for an event that you can not attend, you will be credited that money for another preliminary event. The exception will be our Christmas pageant. All contestants are ordered a title sash and custom crown and we will not refund or credit those fees. Preliminary credits can only be used for future preliminary events and will expire in 6 months or on the day of the state pageant following that event, whichever date comes first.
- Good sportsmanship is required from all contestants and family and friends at all times, no exceptions.
- All decisions of scoring is based on that judge on that given day. There will never be a change in a judges score. The director will make final decision of disqualification of any contestant for makeup rules or bad sportsmanship. The scoring is based only on judges opinions.
